At The Foundry, we respect the natural beauty of cedar. The natural grain and random patterns add character to a home. We have re-created that look in a siding that has never been seen before.
We work in the old-world tradition to design and pour over 100 different molds that are used to capture cedar’s natural traits. Our Shakes have the rich grain of hand-split cedar. Our Shingles bear the random marks of a mill saw. All our claddings have a texture that is carried through to the bottom edge of each shingle to give a rough-sawn look. This level of authenticity is only possible with our proprietary process.
